The tenth and final stage of the Märkisch Overland Trail covers from Groß Pinnow to Mescherin. The tour leads through the wavy and diverse landscape of the Uckermark. At the end of the hike, we return to the Lower Oder Valley near Mescherin. The observation tower allows for a final wonderful view of the Oder wetlands.

Start: Groß Pinnow / Finish: Mescherin

How to get there: From Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the RE3 to Schwedt, Mitte, and from there take bus 469 to Gartz or bus 472/459 to Casekow, train station. From there, take bus 471 to Groß Pinnow, Arche. The starting point is then about 1.5 km away on foot (approx. 3 hours).

Return journey:

Monday – Friday: Take bus 473 to Gartz (Oder), then bus 469 to Schwedt ZOB, from Schwedt take the train to Berlin or bus 473 to Tantow Bhf, then RE66/RB66 (currently rail replacement service) to Berlin via Angermünde or Stettin, from Angermünde take RE3/RE30 to Stralsund

Weekends/public holidays: Call bus R488 to Vierraden, continue with bus 484 to Schwedt ZOB, from Schwedt take the train to Berlin or call bus R488 to Tantow Bhf, continue with RE66/RB66 (currently rail replacement service) to Berlin via Angermünde or Stettin, from Angermünde take RE3/RE30 to Stralsund
