The route runs around the Großer and Kleiner Moddersee lakes and around Lake Klein Köriser See. The lakes are part of the Teupitz-Köriser-Seenkette lakes, also known as the 10 Lakes Tour of the Teupitz passenger boat cruises. The area, which is part of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park, is an absolute gem for nature-lovers. The Klein Köriser See circular walk is one of the most beautiful walking routes in the Dahme-Seenland region and reached second place in the list of most popular tours in Brandenburg in 2008/2009. There are plenty of food and drink outlets and places to stay the night along the route. The circular trail is also suitable for school classes and family days out.
