Night of the Palaces – “Potsdamer Schlössernacht” Baroque splendour in Sanssouci Park
Nowhere else but here, at Sanssouci Park, is Prussia's baroque splendour more opulent and romantic. Each year in late August, Potsdam's “Schlössernacht”, a spectacular music festival at night, invites their guests to stroll around the splendidly illuminated Prussian monarch's summer residences. Meet musicians and dancers in lavish costumes and see grandiose performances – from the Orangery to the New Palace, the Chinese House to the Roman Baths, from the Picture Gallery to the Church of Peace (Friedenskirche).
Stages set up in the park offer art enjoyment from popular classical music to jazz.
This year the event is scheduled August 20 and 21, 2021.
