Music Festival “Havelländische Musikfestspiele” A magical symbiosis of music and landscape
The music of the Havelland – steeped in tradition. Frank Wasser, pianist and founder of the music festival, aims to revive this tradition. During the year, more than 40 concerts and readings are scheduled to take place in lordly parlours and gardens of famous palaces and manor houses around the Havelland region. Experience magical moments at royal event locations including the Ribbeck Palace, Rogäsen Palace or the Schinkelkirche Petzow.
High culture in lordly buildings
Works of the classical period and high culture are presented by internationally renowned artists. Every so often, the location's history is thematically tied into the programme. Featured mostly are piano concerts and chamber music which preserve the cultural-historical heritage. Readings are also part of the cultural programme.
