Tropical Islands is the unique tropical paradise throughout Europe in the largest cantilevered hall in the world. This new holiday destination, which is situated in a dome planned for huge airships, is only an hour away from Berlin. Thick rainforest, tropical sea, a lagoon and a sandy beach invite you to relax. Exotic park areas and gardens full of orchids are a seduction for the senses. A tropical village shows houses from Thailand, Bali, Borneo, Polynesia, the Amazon and the Congo. The climate, which is ideal all the year round (with an air temperature of 23 to 25 ºC and 28 to 31ºC in the water) guarantees a feeling of absolute well-being. Various events make the visitor more familiar with foreign cultures. Musical groups and dancing groups pass through the tropical village during the day. In the evening, the big “Viva Brazil” stage show provides entertainment. Anybody who wishes to do so can spend the night on the sandy beach that extends over several hundred metres!
