Eichhorst Lock is in a village by the same name. Surrounded by lots of restaurants, the lock is a magnet for visitors to the region south of Lake Werbellinsee. The lock, together with the lock in Rosenbeck, makes it possible to overcome the height difference between Lake Werbellinsee and the Oder-Havel Canal. Like the lock in Rosenbeck, it is a self-service, semi-automatic facility.
