Using a control lever at the landing stage, users indicate that they require the lock to be operated. An LED display indicated that the lock is being prepared. A light signal controls entry. Once all of the users have entered, one of them engages the control lever in the lock chamber. This initiated the lock operation. Everything else is automated. There is another LED display in the lock chamber, which guides the users through the lock programme. There is a callbox for emergencies.
