Eberswalde Zoo is located on 15 hectares in the middle of a beautiful mixed forest landscape.

It is home to 1300 animals of 130 species from 5 continents.Especially remarkable are the newly constructed treetop adventure trail above the wolf enclosure, the walk-in fallow deer and kangaroo enclosures and the groups of monkeys living completely free in the zoo's trees. You can explore the most exciting lion enclosure in the world, the jungle house with tropical animals, an unique ice age glacier landscape with an exceptional tiger enclosure as well as a talking tree. The zooschool offers a wide range of exciting education and holiday programs. Additional attractions include the petting zoo, 10 adventure- and theme playgrounds as well as the opportunity to get married at the zoo.

Opening hours: All year round, daily from 9 a.m. until dusk, including public holidays
