At Eberswalde Zoo, you can get very close to the lion king: in the lion enclosure, a tunnel leads to a fully glazed cave from where you can experience and observe the majestic lions up close. An unforgettable experience. In the zoo's forests, the monkeys run around completely free and provide plenty of excitement and fun when the animals dash over you. The daily feedings are particularly exciting, where you can watch the animals hunting for the best treats. And from May to September, you have the opportunity to feed and stroke the animals in the petting zoo.

200 metre long, barrier-free treetop path leads directly above the wolf and fallow deer enclosures at lofty heights. There are also ten adventure and themed playgrounds to let off steam.

Incidentally, Eberswalde Zoo is embedded in 15 hectares of woodland. It is home to over 1300 animals of 130 species from five continents.

Opening hours: Year-round, daily from 9 a.m. until dusk, including public holidays.
