The historic bascule bridge at the Neue Mühle lock is the first bridge to be crossed. From here, the route runs alongside the road to Wernsdorf. The water tower in Niederlehme and the bathing area at lake Krossinsee before Wernsdorf are worth a short break. The second bridge is crossed in Wernsdorf. This is the invisible border between Brandenburg and the capital. The cycle path then follows the street Wernsdorfer Straße to Schmöckwitz. The tarmac path is separated from the road by trees and is popular with cyclists. Schmöckwitz offers the third bridge at the crossing of the Dahme. A photo break should be planned here.

After a short stretch along the busy road Adlergestell, the route turns off towards Karolinenhof, still following the DahmeRadweg. Quiet side streets and villas along the river Dahme characterise the route before it turns onto the cycle path towards Grünau. Here, breaks by the water with a view of the Müggelturm tower are a must, even if you must push briefly from the cycle path to the shore.

From the Grünau lido, the route leads into the forest, past the traditional Hanff's Ruh restaurant. The route leads through the forest on forest paths and crosses the fourth bridge over the railway tracks. Number five awaits at Schwarzer Weg between Berlin-Bohnsdorf and Waltersdorf-Siedlung. Through Schulzendorf, Zeuthen and Wildau, the route leads mainly through the typical residential areas close to Berlin. In Wildau, the A10 motorway is crossed on the Goethebahn (bridge number six) before reaching the transmitter and radio technology museum, the historic water tower and the castle in Königs Wusterhausen. The last bridge of the loop is also crossed in the town. From the bridge over the Notte Canal, it is only a few metres to start and finish at the railway station.
