Köthen Youth Hostel is idyllically situated right on the shores of Lake Köthen, at the foot of the Krausnick Mountains. Nestled within the peaceful natural landscape of the Spreewald UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it is an ideal base for active holidays. Water sports enthusiasts in particular appreciate the direct access via the hostel’s own jetty. The surrounding waterways can be easily explored using the hostel’s own rowing boats.
