The studio community is located on a secluded site formerly used as a military training area west of Töpchin. The buildings once housed a secret film archive of the Red Army. Numerous artists such as Sieghard Auer, Harald Müller, Ralf Sander, Andreas Theurer, Azade Köker and Yoshimi Hashimoto work on this interesting site.

The artistic directions are very different and include architecture, performance and sculpture. The exhibitions of the individual artists are announced on their individual websites and by the district. They also repeatedly come together for joint projects, including for example the ground-breaking "Ecocity" project in Wünsdorf.
