The small Tonsee is located north-east of the town of Mittenwalde and is a quiet bathing lake in the Dahme-Spreewald. It is surrounded by reeds and trees. The lake is freely accessible to everyone and has a small sandy beach area on the eastern shore. The lawn next to the bathing beach with sunny and shady places is especially inviting for picnics and rest. Several benches in the sand open a beautiful panorama to the opposite shore. Immediately on the premises there is a climbing frame for the little ones.

Around the quiet Tonsee leads an approximately 3km long path, which is perfect for a walk. You can reach the lake only by foot or by bike. Nearby parking spaces are only 15 minutes away in the city.
