The small fishing lake in the middle of the forest is located close to the Louise briquette factory. The former quarry pit was filled with clean water once mining had ended in 1912. The lake has steep banks that drop to a depth of six to seven metres after just a short way out. An unassuming driveway along the Tröbitzer Strasse (L60) between Wildgrube and Tröbitz leads to parking in the immediate vicinity of the lake. From the parking area, a narrow path leads around the lake, with small bays and promontories on the shore providing numerous places to sit.

  • Fish species: All domestic fish species from eel to catfish. Excellent specimens have developed here due to its isolated location.
  • Tenant: Landesanglerverband Brandenburg e. B. / Betreiber: Anglerverein Tröbitz e. V.


Sale of fishing permits:
  • Fishing permits can either be obtained online from the Landesanglerverband Brandenburg e.V. (LAVB - Brandenburg fishing association) or from any sports shop that sells fishing permits for the LAVB (Brandenburg Fishing Association).
