“... nothing remains as it is, nothing is somehow finished. Pure creation, every day anew. A growing organism, not a soulless, aggressive block.” There are no works of art to admire in this house, because the house itself is a work of art, as crazy and eccentric as its name. Inspired by the architectural art of the visionary Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the owner Steffen Modrach designed (and still continues to design!) his land into a brightly coloured fantasy world. The façades of the house and courtyard are made up of millions of colourful items, including cups, buttons and garbage. Time and time again, you discover new intelligent and humorous details, hands that protrude from the wall, or bizarre figures that follow you with their gaze. The large, artistically designed garden is also worth a visit. The Lord of the Manor would be more than happy to take visitors on a guided tour through his inspiring realm by pre-booking by telephone.
