The flour dust flies in the air, the motor rattles and the sieve clatters in the Paltrock-style windmill in Schönewalde - the machinery is set in motion on a guided tour by the Master miller Erich Weber Junior. Flour is no longer ground here, but the intact technical equipment means that it could be at any time.

The mill is located to the east of the village. You can see the large blades as you approach from a distance. The small wind wheel is able to turn the mill in the right direction by itself. Bread and cakes are still baked in the wood-fired oven, which is still working. The traditional Mill Festival takes place on Pentecostal Monday.
