Find out more about the Reformation along the trail between Jüterbog and Wittenberg. It is ideal for exploring by bicycle. Find out more about the Reformation from an unusual perspective: the period before triumphal progress of the Reformation. From the Middle Ages, a strange, colourful world of beliefs and contradictions. Jüterbog still has a few treasures to offer from this period. The Luther-Tetzel Trail runs from here through old villages and past old churches to the town of the Reformation: Lutherstadt Wittenberg. For fit hikers, it is a lovely one-day tour; anyone who wants to take it a little easier can stay overnight along the way and enjoy the trail in two stages. Or you can take an extra day so you have plenty of time to follow in Luther’s footsteps in Wittenberg.
