Bearded tits nest in the reeds at the Bohlensteg walkway. In autumn, thousands of Nordic wild geese fly to Blankensee Lake to rest. On the north bank of the lake, you can observe osprey in their breeding grounds. With a lot of luck and quiet, you can spot a bittern and see the silver flash of bleaks grooming themselves.

Location: End of Ruhemannweg, 14959 Trebbin, District of Blankensee

How to get there: In Blankensee, there is a parking area in the village centre and one at the entrance to the village in the direction of Blankensee Lake. The Bohlensteg walkway is just a short walk away from both.
