The fieldstone church in Grubo, a village district of Wiesenburg, dates from the first half of the 13th century. It stands on a village green, surrounded by a cemetery.  It is an impressive-looking church due to its new brighter tuckpointing, which was done during its renovation in 1990. Your eye is drawn to the fact that the stones used on the choir of the church have a very clear ashlar pattern, while the fieldstones used on the nave have only a rough ashlar pattern or are only carved on the outside.
