The baroque manor house in Wiepersdorf was built at the beginning of the 18th century and was owned by the von Arnim family since 1780. It received its castle-like character through numerous alterations and additions about 100 years later. The orangery on the southwest side of the French-style park was also built during this period. Today, the castle houses the Cultural Foundation, which provides scholarship stays for artists and scientists, a library and a museum. The Orangery houses a café that opens its doors to visitors on weekends. The café is a worthwhile stop for travelers on Circuit 6 or on the Flaeming Skate's Great Circuit 1. During a stroll in the castle park, you can follow in the footsteps of the von Arnims before continuing on through the Niedere Fläming region.
