LIEPE Slavic: "by the lime trees" - Opened on the 800th anniversary of its namesake Liepe, the hiking trails lead along old water and lifelines. From the castle rampart, the Schwedenschanze, opposite the village church to Wahlsdorf, the paths lead past villages, fields and forests. Along the way you will find a wide variety of "art objects" and winding paths to walk. The artists created the artworks for eight of the 12 stations on a voluntary basis. In addition, there is information about historical places in the village, some of which have since disappeared and are now documented and accessible thanks to the work of a chronicler. At some houses in the villages there are even more interesting things to read, smile and marvel at. And the youngest can solve riddles on the paths and gain knowledge about nature in a playful way.

Arrival / Departure:
  • Public transport: from Berlin main station with regional express RE3 to Luckenwalde or Jüterbog station, then continue by bus
  • Car: from Berlin via A13 to exit Baruth/Mark, then via B115 direction Jüterbog; alternatively via B101 to Jüterbog and further on B115 direction Baruth/Mark

Route: Liepe - Wahlsdorf - Liepe

Route characteristics: country roads, asphalt bike/skate path, paved paths, forest paths

Difficulty: easy

Possible combinations:

RK 6 and RK 7 on the Flaeming skate.

Points of interest:

Along the trail, the following stops are numbered and equipped with information boards.

  1. Swedish Redoubt
  2. Horse farms
  3. At the waterworks
  4. Mueller's forest edge
  5. At the sieves
  6. Schwietzke's grave
  7. Mörgelkiete
  8. At the spring
  9. Small railroad
  10. kiekebank
  11. Old inn
  12. fortified church
