The vacation apartment "The Red Castle" was built as a workers' house of the factory settlement of the former glassworks. It probably dates back to 1861. The floor plan of the apartment was retained, only the kitchen was divided into bathroom and small kitchenette. The rooms were completely renovated, partly laid with new floorboards and provided with central heating. Nevertheless, the tiled stove in the living room was kept in working order to provide its special comfort in the colder season main front is oriented to the west. The kitchen has a two-burner induction stove and a refrigerator with freezer and microwave. The rooms are furnished in a rural and elegant style. We have deliberately dispensed with a television in order to make the everyday character of our village more tangible. WLAN is available, however, so that you are not cut off from the "outside world". The entrance to the house is right next to the apartment door, so there is no need to walk through private areas. Parking space is available in our yard. Garden furniture is at your disposal. We are happy to provide you - on advance order - with breakfast rolls from a small bakery, which still produces its own goods, and with milk, yogurt or cottage cheese from Jersey cattle from a neighboring village, all in natural quality without rape of the product.
