The smooth band of asphalt is three metres wide throughout and offers variety over 52 kilometres. Beginner skaters and families with smaller children will find long, straight stretches to get started. Experienced athletes also get heir money's worth on climbs and slopes between Wahlsdorf, Petkus and Ließen – subject to experience and the correct safety equipment.

What is there to see? Anyone who arrives in Luckenwalde by train takes the small detour via the market square and the pedestrian precinct to the access point by the district administration building. The market tower, Kirche St. Johannis church and the local history museum give an idea of what Luckenwalde looked like in the Middle Ages. On second glance, you will discover numerous Art Nouveau façades. The bear witness to the former prosperity of the town - barely 100 years ago. In the villages there are regular opportunities to participate in traditional festivals, discover the simple beauty of the village churches and try some Fläming specialities or take them home with you.

Please note: Maintenance and care of the tracks is one of the ongoing tasks in the Flaeming-Skate region. This means there are occasionally short-term restrictions on sections of individual routes. Please look for current information on the Flaeming-Skate website shortly before coming.
