Gommern is a few kilometres east of Magdeburg in the district of Jerichower Land, a part of Fläming in the southwest. The town information centre is diagonally across from Gommern town hall on Platz des Friedens. What the sights are, where the good cycle paths are, where you can find something delicious to eat, where the events are happening - visitors can find everything the need for their stay in the municipality at the town information centre. Guests are welcome to come in and talk to us any time for individual tips on visiting the region.

The association also provides visitors with brochures on all of the other regions in Saxony-Anhalt. In addition of information material, the town information centre also sells regional products, for example “Jommeraner Jurken” gherkins, the “Jurkenklopfer” gherkin liqueur, sparkling wine, tea, cycle route maps and various souvenirs.
