A boating licence is not required to captain a boat on the River Havel along a 200-kilometre long section of the waterway. A charter licence is all that is needed for these routes, which will be issued on completion of detailed theoretical and practical instruction.

Guests can also rent bicycles from the supplier and take them on board the boat – perfect for a day out on day land into the Havelland countryside. Dogs are also allowed on board.
