The building with its outstanding sandstone rood screen and medieval stained glass is a stop on the Romanesque Road.

The oldest museum in Prignitz houses modern exhibitions on the settlement history of the Prignitz, Altmark and Havelland regions, the history of the cathedral and the history of the Hanseatic city of Havelberg in the medieval monastery rooms.

Cathedral tours, city tours and museum tours are offered.

Museum education, special exhibitions and events can be found on the museum's homepage.

Havelberg Cathedral is the starting point for the bishop’s tour to Wittstock.
