Natural charm on the edge of Berlin – Sielmann’s landscape spans over 3600 hectares between Elstal Valley and Potsdam, making it seventeen times as big as the Tiergarten in the centre of Berlin. Today the 1860-hectare ‘core zone’ is home to around 100 European bison, 24 Przewalski horses and 90 red deer. Visitors can reach the Finkenberg observation tower via star-shaped hiking trails. The platform, 85 metres above sea level, provides a unique panoramic view all the way to the Berlin Television Tower, 25 kilometres away on Alexanderplatz.
