The "Hütte", as this family-run restaurant is affectionately called, not only serves delicious food: The building, with its cosy open fire, rustic wooden furniture and light plastered walls, was built over many years from local materials. In the adjoining beer garden, the art works created from oak trunks over 100 years old tell their own story about the town of Peickwitz.

Guests to the south of Lake Senftenberger See are treated to rustic dishes, hearty home cooking along with home-made cakes and ice-cream specialities. Products from the restaurant’s own garden enrich the food in summer. House specialities are the rustic baked ham from the traditional oven, "Spießbraten" (skewered roast) or traditional roast goose at Christmas and local fairs. The premises can hold 35 to 50 people.
