“The vineyard of the future will be made from fungus-resistant vines”, the Wobar family is convinced and, with a lot of courage, planted robust new varieties (PIWIS) in 2012 on the naturally grown soil of the remaining steep slope at the former Meuro opencast mine.

At agreed dates, visitors can convince themselves of the quality and enjoyment of the nationally and internationally award-winning wines with the winemaking family in the vineyard. In vineyard tours and wine tastings, interested wine lovers can find out everything about the history and future of wine growing in Niederlausitz in a dialogue with the winemaker.

By the special microclimate in the area of ​​influence of the Großräschener See with 2018 hours of sunshine and 51 summer days, the grapes reach full maturity. The vineyard directly on the lake has a slope of 30 - 33% and lets the sun shine intensely. These are expanded in the Saxon wine house Prinz zur Lippe.

WeinWobar's range, consisting of three white wines, a rosé, a red wine and a sparkling wine in traditional bottle fermentation, is complemented by seasonal products such as mulled wine and balsamic vinegar.
