Inaugurated in 2019, the newly built city harbour is the gateway to Lake Großräschen, which was created by the flooding of the Meuro open-cast mine. Until the lake is released and the harbour can be used, it offers an interesting destination for walks and excursions. The toilets in the harbour can be used for a fee. A barrier-free toilet is available for guests who are dependent on wheelchairs. The Haus VIER restaurant and the Seebistro on the IBA terraces are located near the city harbour.

The harbour facilities also include a playground, which is laid out on the various levels of the terraced pedestrian access.

As soon as it is opened, the modern harbour facility will offer around 130 berths for boats, which will be used as permanent berths as well as by guests. The berths will then have electricity and water connections. Additional sanitary facilities will then be available for the boat crews.
