The Dutch wind mill in Dörrwalde was built in 1845 and it is a landmark of the Lusatian Lake District. The tower mill that is a rarity in the Niederlausitz region stretches its larch wood sails towards the sky, attracting visitors, such as cyclists riding along the five regional cycle paths, to stop in Dörrwalde and experience a bit of milling history. The three guest rooms “Holländerstübchen”, “Kappenstübchen” and “Mühlenkammer” are furnished in an individual modern country style, offering great comfort in a historic setting. The cosy twin rooms with stunning views of the mill ensemble are wonderful places to linger and relax. The romantic mill suite is perfect for spending time together, not only for lovebirds. The special atmosphere is highlighted by the cosy seating area overlooking the fireplace. Modern country house style is skilfully combined with natural elements, giving rise to an individual charm.
