The 350 metre lakeside bathing area in Niemtsch is right by the Komfort campsite and is very popular, especially because of its spacious meadows. There is paid parking here, plus a playground, a range of snack bars and bathroom facilities. Niemtsch also has a separately designated dog swimming area.

In addition, there is a watersports school and sailing harbour on the lakeside at Niemtsch. The Santa Barbara passenger boat stops here on its circular tour of the lake. A boat rental service and the attached five-star campsite complete the range of facilities.
