The Reppister Höhe vantage point on the southern shore of Großräschener See opens up a wide view of the Lusatian landscape, with the town of Senftenberg to the south and Großräschen on the opposite shore of the lake to the north. The seven villages excavated for the Meuro open-cast mine are commemorated by their outlines on a scale of 1:150 and by stelae bearing the place names: Bückgen, Großräschen-Süd, Anna-Mathilde, Rauno, Reppist, Sauo and Birkenhain.
