On the Boxberg shore of the lake Bärwalder See, visitors will find a unique model of a human ear built from soil. The gigantic ear is about 350 metres long, 250 metres wide and 18 metres high. At the ear’s highest point, there is a viewpoint that is accessible via a walking trail that is about one kilometre long. From here, visitors can enjoy stunning views across the lake Bärwalder See. The highlight of the attraction is located inside the ear: an amphitheatre with 270 seats. A wide range of events is held at this open-air theatre between late May and the end of September. Every summer, there is a diverse and entertaining programme for guests to discover.
