The Lausitzer Neiße river forks into two on the elevation at Pusack. Its left arm is blocked off by a weir which it is not possible to get round. Water tourists can use the canal on the right-hand side in Poland, which leads to the former KAPAG hydropower station at Żarki Wielkie. Another weir in front of the power station means boats have to be taken out of the water and pulled or wheeled approximately 300 metres to the lower level, where it is possible to get back in. After a small white-water section, the river continues flowing peacefully until the next weir at Zelz.
