The approximately 65-hectare park on the site of the former Federal Horticultural Show is a popular leisure park. There is lots on offer for skaters here. A 4-kilometre asphalted path runs through the grounds. It is easy to skate on and ensures carefree enjoyment even for beginners. The route can be chosen freely, though walkers, joggers and hikers also use the path. For those who wish to try their hand at skateboarding, there is a skating area with mini-ramps, a half-pipe and a four-metre high funwall. Inline skating courses are organised every year from the end of March, and a weekly skater race course is also available from April. Helmets are mandatory for training course participants.

The park also offers a variety of opportunities for active leisure, including a climbing wall, football pitches, streetball and beach volleyball pitches and trampolines. If you feel like a bite in between, the park has a café and a snack bar that serve both sweet and savoury food.
