It puffs and snorts along the nine kilometre route from Lindenberg to Mesendorf –"Pollo”, the only narrow gauge railway in Brandenburg. Between 1897 and 1971, it carried mainly goods across the Prignitz. The junction was Lindenberg, which now houses a light railway museum. It is open on certain weekends when rail enthusiasts can also ride on the historic steam and diesel locomotives. The bicycle tour follows the Prignitz narrow gauge railway for quite some way, passing a host of other interesting places, especially for families with children.
