The 4-hectare park consists of a Biedermeier part that was laid out from 1827 and north of the main house contains a large lawn and old, species-rich trees, including swamp oak, silver maple, a 300-year-old oak and catalpa and tulip tree. The park extension to the east of the house with countryside views also contains an extensive mature stand of trees, an old Douglas fir and a larch, a pond with a wooden bridge and the linden avenue leading to the family cemetery. The late-mowed meadow areas have rich flora, including cuckoo flower and orchid.

The forecourt contains lawns and a central axis between the car park and the main building that was newly created in 1992 as a path, bordered on both sides with flower beds.

In 1827, when the estate and farmland were separated after the separation, Carl Theodor Gans Edler Herr zu Putlitz built the new manor house on his premises. To the south it was supplemented by a courtyard, to the north by the old part of the park that still exists today. His great-nephew Konrad Gans Edler Herr zu Putlitz significantly expanded the park to the east by making the family cemetery accessible through an avenue of linden trees and laying out a pond. Professor Bernhard v. Barsewisch, grandson of Konrad zu Putlitz, bought the main house and the park in 1991 and took care of the park again, cleared up a lot of uncontrolled growth, and re-laid the path system with the bridge over the pond.
