Ancient giant trees, romantic streams and extensive meadow orchards characterise the approximately four hectare Burg Lenzen castle estate and are the ideal place to take a long walk. The listed park is located directly on the small River Löcknitz, a tributary of the River Elbe. Large parts of the park look like small, unspoilt wetlands and invite visitors to explore.

A special historical element is the terraced parterre garden, which was built around 1920 in the Baroque style of the main building. Since the restorations in 2013 in accordance with the regulations for historical monuments, the water has been bubbling out of the frog fountain again and historical rose varieties have been blooming in all their glory. A natural poetry garden invites you to follow the thoughts of various natural philosophers. Works of art with philosophical quotations provide food for thought about the relationship between humans and nature.

Enjoy the regional and seasonal delicacies from the castle restaurant after your walk around Burg Lenzen castle.
