The barefoot trail in Dannenwalde, created by the town of Gransee and the FUSS e.V. Association in north Brandenburg, was opened to the public in 2007. It is Germany’s first barefoot trail with its own rail connection and the only one with themed barefoot stations to encourage participation and stimulate ideas. The facility is intended to make visitors curious about other journeys of discovery in this north Brandenburg region rich in forests and lakes.

The well-maintained facility and open air exhibition are open to visitor free of charge at any time. From Berlin central station, you can get to Dannenwalde in a good 45 minutes by regional express.
