The "Winterquartier" in Dechtow is worth a visit at any time of year. Here, holidaymakers can enjoy a good night's sleep in American box-spring beds, read, enjoy the peace and quiet, even with their dog, go for a walk, shop with local farmers and then cook. The farm's stable building, which was built generations before the current hosts with great attention to detail in 1883, has been converted into a cosy "temporary home" for today's guests.

The spacious holiday home can be converted into two completely separate holiday flats by pulling in a mobile partition wall. The kitchens and bathrooms are modern, underfloor and wall heating create a pleasant living climate, the fireplace and the old beams give the rooms a lovely atmosphere. Extra beds are possible.

The "winter quarters" have a total of 200 m² of living space. The two large living rooms have open-plan kitchens and each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom.

Guests can enjoy radio stations from all over the world or their own streamed music with the Sonos smart speaker system.

The kitchens are fully equipped and washing machines and tumble dryers are available in the utility rooms. The large garden is right outside the door. The Rhin- and Havelländisches Luch, beautiful surroundings, are ideal for numerous outdoor activities. Bicycles, canoes (Canadians) and the former "milk kitchen" as a sports room with table football, table tennis table, cross stepper and various outdoor play equipment are available. Many of the worthwhile excursion destinations, farm shops and country restaurants can be reached by bike via the "Stille Pauline", which is only 3 km away and connects to Neuruppin, or the Havelland cycle path. By car, you can quickly reach the hustle and bustle, history and culture of Berlin and Potsdam.

Located in the middle of nature in the cultural landscape of Brandenburg, Dechtow is a perfect place to linger. Also for the tens of thousands of geese and cranes that rest in the region in autumn, as well as for storks and beavers.
