Start / Finish: Fredersdorf S-Bahn station

Length / Duration: 20 kilometers, approx. 1.5 hours

Route characteristics / route development: mainly well-maintained field and forest paths, partly alongside roads

Course: “Fredersdorf” S-Bahn station, Petershagen, Vogelsdorf, Fredersdorf Nord, “Fredersdorf” S-Bahn station

Route description

From the station into nature


The route starts at Fredersdorf S-Bahn station. Via Altlandsberger Weg and Sophienstraße, you follow quiet side roads to Spree-, Mittel- and Seestraße, which lead you to Krummen See. From here, take Karl-Liebknecht-Straße and Friedrich-Engels-Straße to Fredersdorfer Straße.

Discover Vogelsdorf

After the highway bridge, you will reach Vogelsdorfer Dorfstraße. It is worth taking a look at the restored baroque church there. The route continues into the Fredersdorfer Mühlenfließ nature reserve. The picturesque river and its surroundings offer numerous photo opportunities and an insight into the local flora and fauna.

Historic Fredersdorf

Through Fredersdorf Süd, you cycle around the idyllic Luchpfuhl and continue along Richard-Wagner-Straße towards the historic village green. There you can admire the village church, the mausoleum and the coat of arms tree. After the level crossing, follow the route via Elisenhof to Fredersdorf Nord, where you can visit the racecourse.

Back to the starting point

From Posentsche Straße, take the narrow Wiesengrundweg back to the residential area. Via Busentscher Weg and Altlandsberger Chaussee you finally reach Fredersdorf S-Bahn station again.
