Experience boundless nature and culture along the Rivers Neiße and Oder and catch a glimpse of neighbouring Poland. This is where the towns are full of tranquillity and cities steeped in history or where one can trace the signs of a European future. In contrast to the urban life, idyllic, vast landscapes will leave a long-lasting impression. The houses of the four residential complexes in the "confectioner's style" are becoming increasingly popular as a backdrop for cinema and television films.

In the Kleiststadt Frankfurt (Oder) you can take a detour to the Polish neighbours or you can visit the Marienkirche with the valuable lead glass windows.

When the Adonis florets bloom around Lebus in spring, the slopes of the Oder turn a bright yellow. In

In April 1945 the Oderbruch was the scene of fierce fighting. In Kienitz there is a monument to a Russian tank that commemorates the fighting in the last days of the war. In Groß Neuendorf you can spend the night in the Kulturhafen in former railway wagons and enjoy the view over the Oder from the café in the loading tower.
