Just a stone's throw from the IGA international garden exhibition - we would like to invite you to experience the historic centre of Altlandsberg, the famous Hoppegarten Racecourse and the active limestone mining industry in Rüdersdorf museum park near Berlin. You can look far across the Berlin and Brandenburg countryside from the historic Rathaus town hall tower in Neuenhagen. Renovations to the Bollensdorf and Fredersdorf estates will once again allow visitors to experience the history of the manor estate that characterises many places. The “Garden Neighbours” cycle route allows you to experience seven municipalities in the suburbs of Berlin, which are primarily situated on the S5 line of the S-Bahn (rapid transit train) for easy access to the capital city. The lido at Lake Bötzsee in Petershagen/Eggersdorf is the perfect place to take a dip in the cool water. Visitors with physical disabilities can also enjoy bathing here with the help of a beach wheelchair and lift.
