Stroke ponies, marvel at stags, feed roe deer: this cycle tour provides excitement for the old and young with animals along the way. It is not just the youngsters who will get their money's worth on the animal petting tour from Müllrose to Wendisch Rietz. Animals, labyrinths, open-air pools and an outdoor ropes course will captivate the whole family. Die Ragower Mühle mill is the perfect place to take your first small break. You will not just find day trippers here, but also lots of poultry running all over the place. A highlight of the tour is the sheep farming activity world in Beeskow. With 900 exhibits and covering an area of 400 square metres, the show is unique in the Mark Brandenburg region. The old and young learn all about shepherds, farmhouse parlours and of course about the woolly four-legged friends themselves. Listening to the young animal keeper during the tour, they talk about the learning ability and social behaviour of the environmentally friendly “grass cutters”. No way are sheep stupid. The focus is on stags and fallow deer at Gut Hirschaue wildlife reserve and on Herzberg ponies and other animals at the Wendisch Rietz leisure park.
