This full-day tour will take you through dense forests and untainted villages to the historic town centres of Altlandsberg and Bad Freienwalde. Start your day trip in Altlandsberg. The circular town wall, the tower gates and the green ramparts as well as the beautiful Bürgerhaus community centres from the 18th and 19th century, the town church and the castle church are sights worth visiting. The tour finishes in Bad Freienwalde, a spa town where numerous villas with façades from the Baroque and Classical era and the late nineteenth century shape the townscape and the perfect place for visitors to spend some time. Freienwalde Palace is a particularly interesting sight where you can visit the memorial to the industrialist Walther Rathenau with a permanent exhibition of his work and life.
