The River Spree is an excellent canoeing area that offers a range of options for engaging single-day and multi-day trips. For those wishing to rent a canoe, 1 and 2-person kayaks as well as 3 and 4-person Canadian canoes are available for hire from the canoe station on the Spreepark grounds complete with equipment during the season from May to September. Bicycles are also available for rent.

Before the trip, the canoe station team will be more than happy to recommend the best paddling routes and offer tips for overnight stays. We recommend signing up for canoe rentals by email in advance. A pick-up and delivery service is available by arrangement.

In addition to canoe and bicycle rentals, Albatros Outdoor offers a wide range of guided tours and canoe trips. Nature and activity tours are organised not just in local waters – i.e. the River Spree – but also go into other rivers such as the Oder and the Rega in Poland.
