There is no better way to enjoy the quiet than steadily paddling along in a canoe and watching nature glide by in its full splendour. You can rent a canoe from surf & fun at the starting point of the tour in Wendisch Rietz. No motor boats are permitted on Lakes Großer Glubigsee, Kleiner Glubigsee and Springsee, and the crystal clear water is enjoyed by canoeists and birds alike. Relax and admire the stunning springs along the banks of Lake Springsee. In the 1960s, North American tree species were planted to the west of the lake for research purposes, adding a very special flair to the lake shore. The inn ‘Zur Quelle’ is a great place to take a break. From the on-site beer garden you can enjoy enchanting views of Lake Springsee, while recharging your batteries for the return journey.
