Arrival / departure:
  • From Berlin main station, take the RE7 (direction Senftenberg) to Königs Wusterhausen, change to the RB36 (direction Frankfurt (Oder)) to Wendisch Rietz (and back).

Route description

Where better to enjoy the peace and quiet than on the water, when the paddles of the canoe are moving in steady circles and nature glides past you in all its splendor? The necessary canoe can be conveniently hired at the starting point of the tour at Surf & Fun in Wendisch Rietz.

Motorboats are not permitted on the Großer and Kleiner Glubigsee or the Springsee - the crystal-clear water is a delight for canoeists and birds alike. The beauty of the springs on the shores of Springsee can be admired in peace and quiet.

North American tree species were planted on the west side of the lake in the 1960s for research purposes, giving the shore a special charm.

The “Zur Quelle” inn is a great place to stop for refreshments. From the inn's own beer garden, you have a wonderful view over the Springsee and can fortify yourself for the return journey.
