Katharinengraben connects Lake Katharinensee to the Oder-Spree Canal. The trip through the enchanted Katharinengraben runs for at least a kilometre and you almost get something of a jungle feel as your rowing boat glides along under the foliage and overhanging willows. But fishing is worthwhile in this narrow canal, too – and is only possible from a boat. As inconspicuous as it may seem, there are some scaly surprises floating around under the surface.
