In the past, there was a pub or a place in the villages where people could meet, where life took place, where people could meet and exchange ideas, and where people ate, drank and celebrated. These places exist less and less. So the idea was born to create again an opportunity to meet and enjoy.

After much thought and conversation with friends and neighbors, the owners of Cafe's Merle and Julia realized they wanted to share something they love: Having guests, talking to each other, and last but not least - really good coffee and homemade cake! When looking for a building or suitable location, it became clear that the café should be directly at the Europabrücke, where the two bike paths "Oder-Neiße" and "Neurüdnitz-Sierkierki" cross - a beautiful and special place on the Oder River.

The Oderglück Café sells fresh coffee, cappuccino, tea, lemonade, homemade cakes and sandwiches to cyclists, hikers, walkers and all those who are hungry for coffee and refreshment.

The mobile café is located on the banks of the Oder River in the nature reserve. Therefore, sustainable management and respectful treatment of nature was important from the beginning. The intention of the café is to support a gentle and individual tourism in the region, which is in harmony with nature. The guests are invited to stay at the Oder, to feel good and to come back gladly. It is not primarily about an economic interest, but to create a place of meeting, information and physical well-being.
